Town of Whitsett Residents Recycling (10/01/10)
The Town Council has decided to continue the use of (3) three eight yard containers for Town of Whitsett residents to drop off their recycling materials. This is the least costly process to meet state requirements on banned material going into land fields.

The recycle site is unmanned, but the service (provided through Republic Waste) should continue as long as:
1) the site doesn’t become messy,
2) non-recyclable items aren't deposisted with recyclables (allowed list under guidelines and on container),
3) personal trash is not left in containers.
Should any of these or other unforeseen negative impacts occur, the Council would need to rethink another course.
We ask that you please respect the reasonable hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday for disposing of your recyclables using the Town Hall bins.
