RECIPES FROM THE WHITSETT COMMUNITY
Many of the recipes on this page were taken from the FROM THE KITCHENS OF WHITSETT cookbook which was first published in 1992. This cookbook was intended to be a collection of imaginative and delectable dishes submitted by the residents of Whitsett and members of their families as well. These are treasured recipes from members of our little town, many who are no longer with us.
The goal for the website is to pull recipes from the cookbook and put them in different sections which are labeled for various holidays. These recipes are ideas that you may want to use for these holidays.
We are wanting to expand this cookbook to include our current Whitsett community. We would love to have recipes from you as well. We invite you to submit any recipes along with your name to our email, townhall@whitsettnc.com . We are hoping to reproduce this cookbook to sell again and we will add new recipes to our website. If we get enough submissions for new recipes, we hope to create a more current cookbook.
